If my time on Earth were through,
What about all the things I’ll never do?
I will never know,
How sweet my life could be.
I would never travel across the great sea,
To the exotic lands I would now never see,
Never set foot on foreign soil,
And think of the things I’ll never do.
What if I died before this dawn?
And my children are never born,
I will never hold them in my arms,
And tell them of the things I’ll never do.
O Lord please don’t take my life away,
At least not today,
Give me a chance to live life,
And the things I’ll never do.
